COVID-19 UPDATE: Our postal and courier partners are experiencing significant delivery delays especially, international orders due to limited flights, social distancing requirements and increased parcel volumes. We will continue to process orders as usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. 

All Australian orders made before AEST 12pm on a weekday will be processed on the same day (except public holidays). For International orders, it is AEST 11am. Please note that all orders received over the weekend or public holiday are processed the following business day.

Basics Department purchases may be delivered to addresses other than the billing address given by the cardholder. An email and a copy of the invoice will be sent to the cardholder's registered email address. 

A dispatch confirmation email displaying your unique tracking number will be sent for all orders so that you can track the progress of your delivery. No signature upon delivery is applicable during the COVID-19 pandemic for your health and safety via express delivery.

We currently use Australia Post and DHL as our international courier therefore, we do not deliver to PO Box addresses.

International delivery costs do not include any taxes or duties, which may be applied by customs at the destination country, and any duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient.

Should the customer choose not to pay taxes and duties that may be payable upon the item(s) arrival at the destination country resulting in the item(s) being sent back to Basics Department, the cost of delivery will be deducted from the refund. 

Please note that in accordance with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items and identify the order as dutiable “merchandise”. We are also prohibited by law from identifying an order as a “gift” for export purposes, even if a customer has placed the order with the intention of delivery to a gift recipient.

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS
